Tue Nam Ton is a multi-award winning photojournalist creating artful images for Architecture, Corporate Event, Wedding, and Portrait clients throughout California and the Bay Area. His photography studio is located in downtown Berkeley.
With over 15 years of professional experience, including 10 years as Staff Photographer at the Contra Costa Times and the Oakland Tribune, Tue Nam’s photography combines creative composition and dynamic lighting to tell visually engaging stories that capture the energy and vibrancy of its subject matter.
He recognizes there is an important difference between taking pictures and making images. Tue Nam believes that artistic vision, anticipation, and preparation are all important ingredients in producing vivid imagery with integrity and visual aesthetics.
He has photographed assignments for corporate clients including Intel, Kaiser, and Cadillac, as well as local companies such as PipeSpy, the Swig Company, and Freed Associates. His work has been published in several magazines, ranging from Oprah Magazine to Acoustic Guitar.
